The airplane bounced. Bounces are a consequence of landing with a too-high speed, in which the airplane is generating too much lift. Depending on technique, it is easy for the airplane to become airborne again. Bounces are often accompanied by a hard landing, either on the first impact leading to the bounce, or on the second impact after ground spoilers deployed.
